How can you add decimals?
Mrs. Piper combined two packages of ground beef to make hamburgers. One package had 0.25 pound of beef. The other had 0.37 pound. How much ground beef did she have in all?
Add 0.25 + 0.37.
Estimate: 0.3 + 0.4 = 0.7
