Test Tip
An adjective that describes a noun usually comes before the noun. However, the adjective may also follow the noun and a linking verb. Even so, the adjective still describes the noun.
Before: The happy children loved stormy weather.
After: The children were happy too bad the bird lost Its when the weather was stormy. (Happy describes children; stormy describes weather)
