Write a Postcard Have
students draw a picture of the place they are writing about before they compose the message. Drawing the picture will help them visualize the details they can then write about.
Schedule a Visit
Make a Schedule Have
students discuss what characters they would like to spend the day with and give reasons for their choices. Then have students complete their schedules. Suggest they remember to schedule time for a meal and a plan for transportation.

Make an Award Have students
make an award showing how they are unique and show it to the class. They should explain what unique quality their awards celebrate.
